It was just offered to me to purchase a 6' Steinert grand = for the price of 2 tunings a year for the next 5 years. These will be = performed on the customers new piano once he gets it. I will be helping him find a new = (to him) piano a little smaller than his present one (the Steinert). He has = specifics for what he is looking for which should prove to make the search quite = interesting. <BR>    My questions are; What experiences = have you had with the Steinert brand? This appears to be a piano quite = worth rebuilding with a very heavy case, thick rim, and among other items = individual aliquot bars for a tunable duplex. I'm curious as to what kind of = value one might place on this 20's vintage piano in need of refinishing, a pin = block and perhaps a soundboard along with an action overhaul. Can anyone come up = with <I>gross</I> estimates of before and after values?
