The buck skin is Escane, doubt there will be much fuzz there.

Your advice to phone Yamaha USA is excellent. Safe for the
tech and the customer. <br>
Since it is spring. I would bet a dime it is humidity
related, Pull on the hammer rail a little, and make sure that all
hammers follow.<br><br>
