for the list used by far less than 20% of the membership! That's one that
should sail right through Council unopposed! </DIV>

<DIV>Maybe it is the "digest" form that's the problem. I get individual
messages, and a quick glance at the subject and author can tell me to delete
before I get past the first 5 words. With the digest, you have to scroll
past, but not too far, and I can see where that would be more trouble.
There are writers whose posts I always read, and others I seldom do.

and would edit the material exactly as I'd like it. All frivolous
(in my opinion) posts would be deleted, and only enlightening posts would
get through. Occasional jokes (that I think are funny) would be
posted, all "inappropriate" and "corny" jokes would be filtered out. How
do we hire this person?</DIV>
