I like having total control of a process. = Most techs become good tuners, and then venture into elementary rebuilding. = The only reason I can earn a living tuning is because of Mr. Sanderson and a lot = of practice. The woodwork stuff is so much easier to me. I've laid awake = too many nights just trying to figure out how to make a good box for shipping a = completed soundboard. I think making a board would not be much more effort than = making a box to ship a board in. And yes, there is a lot to juggle, but there is = also much good information out there, and if one is not sure how to = design/build one from scratch, one can always elect to simply reproduce the original.
