Besides, "steel plate" would undoubtedly be too soft, = unlike a brace screw driver bit.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Incidentally, if you are undoing large = screws, there are a few tricks. Because olde screw slots are /were cut with a = "fly cutter", the slot is actually curved, rather than being flat. For a much = better fit, grind a low angle convex curve in the bit. Also regrind the blade = so that the sides are parallel instead of wedge shaped.
