<p>Alternatively, if you want to use graphite may I suggest to mix
a bit of graphite up with some protek, ... not thick like a paste... rather
thin really, and brush it on with a small stiff artists paintbrush. The
protek will carry the graphite rather nicely into the leather and evaporate.
<p>That said.. like teflon powder best for nearly all these kind of applications.
