Baldwin/Hamilton....approx 10years....church setting.....high humidity.....signs of rats.....jacks hang on hammer butt upon release, therefore no note repeat<BR>
Problem two....squeek....almost positive capstan/sticker squeek<BR>
Solution???? Thinking about 1. damp chaser 2. polish capstans 3. spray mold release on balance and front rail pins (just preventive squeeking solution)<BR>
Question: Polish capstans with WHAT? Should I lubricate sticker felt or capstan and with WHAT? (mold release....Schaff's whatever??)<BR>
Last Question.....any other solutions...thoughts<BR>
Never seen Baldwin sticking, squeeking this bad...Yes, already tried protec center pin lube.....didn't work.<BR>
