Well then it follows that there was no music before money was
invented. Not sure about that ! I know that money must be understood
here in a broader sense,
but nevertheless...
What about love being commercial oriented, then
again ? I know some of it is, but I can't believe that the whole human
history took place in a gigantic money-making bordello. <GRIN>
I don't want
to sound political, though, by claiming my intimate belief that money
should not run the world. So please let's not get involved in
flames against poor me : the PTG group has been so friendly for a
while,
to the point that some of those who quit probably consider coming back
! Do it ! It's free ! (another point, again !)
May I say then that sex can obviously be commercially
oriented ? But that love is a bit bigger than that... Now if sex
and love go together but are not the same, what's the sex-only side of
Music ? The music industry ? Most of the contributions to this list,
and especially those involving money questions, seem to imply that the
sexy and money part of the job of a Piano Technician is only part of
the trade... As a happy lurker-around I must say that I see more piano
lovers here than hard-money-makers.
And, like Sarah happily writes,
