What part of the country are we talking about, and = what are the normal patterns of humidity changes these past months. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>If you have only a partial system -- heater bar and humidistat, (you do have one of those, don't you?) then my experience = has been that the fall in humidity these past few months (inside = buildings) has no effect on activating a de-humidifying only installation. Quite the = contrary as the piano will have a tendency to drop in pitch, usually starting in = the low tenor, reflecting a drying condition of the soundboard and the need for = the humidifying part of the system. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>Also describe where the piano is located, any = extraordinary customer initiated circumstances. I.e., rug shampooing, water damage, environment changes, window treatments vs. the sun, etc. Did you check = to make sure the outlet is not switch controlled? (Don't ask how I will always = remember that scenario!)</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>No offense, but when you say you've been tuning it = for two years regularly, what time intervals are we talking about?  When = you say it's not any more stable, what are you talking about?  Only the = unisons, or whole sections of the piano above or below where you left them last = tuning. A properly installed, adequate Life-Saver piano system will usually not = improve your unisons. significantly. (Note for the super techs: Yes, unisons may = go out during humidity swings because of different overall string = lengths, but only very slightly.
