<HTML>It's called wear and tear= .  Mileage.  In an effort to educate customers about their pianos = needs, I've taken to handing out the "Pitch Raising" flyers put out by the P= TG.  Most get it, and are surprised at the amount of stress put on a pi= ano by tensioning the strings--not to mention the stress put on your arms, s= houlders and ears.  Maybe we all need to spend more time in the gym....= :-) For me, the bottom line is why should I break my butt trying to fit extr= a work into our regular service call time frame?? Why is it that a pitch raise requires the extra charge when everything e= lse done during the allocated time is included in the normal charge?   dave _____________________________David M.
