I slowed the ShopSmith down to the "jigsaw" setting (a= lmost the slowest setting - a wild guess might be 500 rpm - maybe a bit m= ore). I used an unsewn buffing wheel. I used red rouge on the nastiest sc= ratches and marks - the red rouge is aggressive and leaves a fine scratch= pattern.
