Again, in my world, the piano dictates the stretch.  I find on most (n= ot all) pianos If I make the triple octave “beatless” in octaves 6.5, 7 and 8,= the piano sounds beautifully in tune in arpeggio and low-bass-high-treble p= laying, and sounds well in tune with ascending major triads. When the high t= reble is “right” with the rest of the piano it seems to soar, an= d a note struck in octave 8 will ring and cut through for an amazingly long = time.
