My router table is a scrap of plywood fashioned to hold the router
upside-down.<br>
The bit protrudes up through a hole in the center and the wood is covered
with<br>
bushing cloth for a slide-free/scratch-free surface.<br>

The only tricky part is getting into the notch, or staying far enough
from it.<br>
