replacement. Once petrified, the object that was once wood
becomes rock. Petrification occurs over a very long period =

- thousands/millions of years. It can occur when wood is buried in
the ground and groundwater migrates through it - it is the =

carrying dissolved minerals that is the vehicle for wood

purely on experience -- perhaps not when it comes to wool. Some hammer =
makers
have figured out how to shortcut the process in their hammer
