be coupled
and the center string is tuned first then the right string followed by =

have to remove
the mute in a different order ( top down ) and those of us who use a =
single
split mute, change the order of muting.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>For me the mose valuable thing about =
the couplers
will be that they could be an answer to very bad false beating
strings.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The couplers are easily =
removed.</FONT></DIV>

"string coupling" technique that was the cover story on last month's =
Journal.
Seemed to me that while the coupling might help a tuning seem to last =
longer,
the next tuning might be unduly complicated by the coupling. Is anyone =
doing
