<html><div>Try a left handed drill bit and drill counter-clockwise. If
the agraffe is not in very tight the drill will back it out fairly
easy. If it is really stuck you may still want to try it. You
can get left hand drill bits from a machine tool supply place. If
you do damage the treads you can drill/retap the hole for a 3/8th inch
bolt. Cut off a section of the bolt the depth of the agraffe hole
- drill/tap in the center of the bolt section to accept an
agraffe. Screw the bolt section into the plate, you may want to use
some "Loctite 271" or similar threadlocker to be sure it stays
where you put it. Then screw the agraffe into the bolt
section. Hope you don't have to do all that. Rolland
