told folks
that I was too short to work on them. I was trying not too sound

worked on--it
had a brass rail that had never had any problems until I started tuning
it. Wow, did I get lucky. While tuning the first note, the
hammer/shank/butt jumped. The brass butt plate didn't break, the =
tongue on
the rail did. I had the part, which had to be filed to =
fit. And
when I went to regulate the note, the regulating screw snapped as =
soon as I
put my tool on it. At that point, I sort of wished Scotty =
could have
beamed me up. Yep, that was the last one for me. =
