pixel version of this photo where the strings look normal. My guess is =

Ron's photos have their resolution greatly reduced for web

camera - it's
kind of an upper-end average-Joe camera - from a professional view, it =
is a
cheapie. The thing I really like about it is that it has a macro =
function that
allows you to focus down to about two inches from the subject - good for =
photographing center pins and nicks in strings, etc.</FONT></DIV>

know that there is anything "wrong" with using Dag or graphite, but =

including me, don't think it is necessary. Hard maple is a rather =
lubricious
wood and strings slide over it quite easily. The photo below is of =
