<HTML>List, One of my regular clients has a Howard baby grand piano that was reconst= ructed several years ago in Portland.  I am not sure of the rebuilders = (Gans, or something like that), but the scaling design was by Del, complete = with a booklet that thouroughly outlines the trials and tribulations of scal= ing small grand pianos.  I did not have time to read the whole thing to= day at my appointment, but I'd like to get hold of a copy.  Del, do you= have any of these lying around for sale?  Maybe if I show it to people= who have 4 ' 10" grands, they'll understand why their pianos will never sou= nd quite in tune. Interesting piano, quite a nice job.  The customer spent at least 5= times what the piano was worth to have the work done.  I still can't h= ear a fundamental in A0, though....:-) Dave Stahl</HTML>
