Hello list,
<BR>I don't care for the idea of tilting a piano on the pedal lyre.
I have had to re-glue the interior doweling on many pedal lyre's until
I got the movers to lift the piano using only the right and rear leg.
It is harder for the mover and, if it were my back I might see the matter
differently. As far as the pedal lyre itself goes, nothing good for
it comes when it is used to lift the piano. The lyre may not collapes
but the glue seams and dowels are going to be stressed and possibly broken.
Best to all. Rolland Miller, Miller Piano Service, MPT/PTG,rpt.

this week I sent a M&H AA to the West Coast. The cross-country
