<HTML>Hi, Roger, All, The City of Industry is about 25-30 miles east of Los Angeles, on the south-= east end of the San Gabriel Valley (some call that area the Walnut Valley).&= nbsp; It is an area which has a preponderance of commercial/industrial busin= ess.  Near Rowland Heights, Hacienda Heights, West Covina, and La Puent= e, it is near residential areas and some of the best authentic Chinese food = in the world (Rowland Heights, according to a Time magazine article of a cou= ple years ago).  Primary east-west rail runs through the town.  No= , Roger, it is solidly within the area of "smog."  Or haze.  Or, a= s I prefer to look at it (mostly accurately, but sometimes requiring imagina= tion) an ocean-influenced climate.   That means temperate climate,= mostly decent RH.  A temperature inversion layer at about 6,000 feet r= educes air mixing above that elevation, and the mountain range provides a co= ntainer. Although the inversion layer  assures temperate climate, somet= imes the smog is bad.   FWIW, the smog is much less than the 70's.=   The real pretty days are when the wind flow reverses, due to a high p= ressure area over the Nevada-Utah area, and it blows (gently for the nice da= ys) down the mountains towards the ocean.
