wooden flanges on
an old Mason & Hamlin upright (the one that will be at Rochester =
this
summer). I followed Bill Spurlock's method - I have written =
instructions from
him somewhere - I'm not sure exactly what the source was - likely an =
article
in the Journal. It worked quite well and was fairly easy - all you =
really need
is a good drill press with some simple jig to hold the rail well for =
drilling.
I believe some rails may be better candidates than others because of =
their
shape, so perhaps that needs to be considered.</FONT></DIV>
