The key capstain slid off the wippen and jamed = between wippens. Capstain to whippen (for the Europeans on the list) line = up was out but was not that bad. On this particular note it was centred on = 1/3 of wippen instead of half, but that should still not slip. Capstain = travel was towards the right, possibly all the capstains are going to play up if = the keboard was fited to far to the left and the capstains just alligned = to the wippens without checking the travel. I have seen worse still = working so what is different. ? Not sure but, the capstains seem to be of = a new material and new design. Plastic material appears to be very slippery = and the curvature at the top of the capstain is (to me) too = much. Tuned too many pianos today so the head is fuzzy.  Check it out it could = be a problm of the future.
