I slowed the ShopSmith down to the "jigsaw" setting = (almost the slowest setting - a wild guess might be 500 rpm - maybe a bit more). = I used an unsewn buffing wheel. I used red rouge on the nastiest scratches = and marks - the red rouge is aggressive and leaves a fine scratch = pattern.
