There = should be a stop screwed into the keybed directly above the pedal lift rod. = Adjust the stop down until the bicord dampers are just coming off the string. = To adjust it really “hot” the bottoms of the bicords do not have to clear = the top of the string- leave some of the wedge down between the strings. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> As you minimize the lift off the strings you are also minimizing the = dampers’ return velocity, which will also minimize the thumping. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> BTW, if there is no stop screw there, just put one in. A 1/4 X 1 inch hex = bolt works great.
