found is to
measure the overall height of the key WITH an old ivory in place. =
I
usually use key #1 and key #88 as my standard. This gives you your final =
total
measurement. Then remove the old ivory, make a trial cut, lay the =
new
keytop in place and measure again. Shoot for your original total
dimension. Adjust your cut as needed to give you the proper =
height.
Cut all the rest to the same size. There are too many =
variables to
try any other way. My tolerance is plus or minus .010".
