experience in North Texas/Southern Oklahoma indicates that this process =
will
last for a few years, depending on the degree of verdigris and climate =
control
the piano has to endure. Unlike the zapper device, you can heat one side =
of the
pin and heat sink the other though it is still not great for the =
birdseye.
Unfortunately, the temporary fix sometimes works so well the client will =
postpone parts replacement indefintely. I follow a couple of guys =
occasionally
who did this procedure for years with relatively few problems over =
time..Like
Ms. Kline, I have found "lubricated" parts to be more
problematic.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
