<HTML>What strippers have you used?  I have done a number of these and while it can be a tough finish it does come off with whatever I have used.  Usually Bix.  Keep in mind the vaneer will be nothing to show off as that was the primary motivations for developing the promoting the ebonized finish.  $$$.  Finish is cheaper than vaneer.
