with a graphic timeline from 1500 to 2000, displaying musical =
periods and
composers' lifetimes. The time spans of meantone, modified meantone, =
well,
victorian well, quasi-equal, and equal temperament are displayed. You =
can click
on any of the six temperament types and see thumbnails of =
representative
examples of that temperament and when they were documented according to
Jorgensen. This makes it easier to visualize the historical movements =
and to
relate them to what the composers might have heard in their childhood =
and how
the composers probably had their keyboards tuned. A lot of work went =
into a few
integrated pages. Enjoy. Feedback is welcome and =
