scans very
quickly first, at a very low resolution. Then, you may have the =
option
to crop the area you're scanning, so that the final, high-resolution =
scan only
covers part of the area.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>You can also open your image in the simple utility =
Paint
(under Start | All Programs | Accessories). Use the crop tool to =
select
the area you want. Copy that area (Ctrl-C), then open a new file =

Paint and paste (Ctrl-V). Save this new file as type JPEG (the =
default
BMP makes very big files).</FONT></DIV>
