Isaac, Oleg?</font></blockquote> <blockquote type="cite" cite><font face="Arial">Gary Mc</font></blockquote> <div><font face="Arial"><br></font></div> <div>This last weekend our piano no. 3 was hired for the Kowmung Music Festival in the Blue Mountains, a couple of hours drive west of Sydney  (info on this event is viewable in the Coming Events section of our website). The duo pianist brothers from Austria, Eduard and Johannes Kutrowatz, were previously unknown to me. I was extremely impressed with their performances. Apart from their impressive technique, their sensitivity of playing was outstanding. My wife Kristie and I travelled with the piano, preparing it for each of the three concerts, the last of which was held on a wooden platform in a large limestone cave. This concert, in the Arch Cave at Abercrombie Caves, was perhaps one of the most moving concert events we have attended. The sound in the cave was breathtakingly beautiful, and the musicianship of the performers was outstanding. Eduard and Johannes were also very enthusiastic about our piano, which sort of transformed the event into one of those rare moments when it seemed that the trouble and heartache which accompanies piano making may have been worth it. It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, lots of music, wine and hospitality.</div> <div><br></div> <div>Eduard and Johannes Kutrowatz are scheduled to return for the 2003 Kowmung.
