The guy did say (PTJ article) that the master tuning (for each individual p=
iano) would be done by normal methods, and then would be stored using only t=
he fundamentals, as produced by the continuously excited strings. He also is=
n't claiming that higher harmonics are not important in tuning; only that th=
ese automated re-tunings would be accomplished by matching fundamentals to t=
he ones in memory.<BR>
