<P>30 year old Kawai console.
<P>Note* All dampers work just fine (inside the piano) when each note is
played individually
<P>With the action in the piano and the sustain pedal depressed, the bass
and the treble dampers are found to function properly. However, a two octave
section of dampers around the tenor break will not move enough
to clear the strings.
<P>When the action is pulled out of the piano and placed on a flat solid
surface (the floor), and the damper lever is engaged, all the dampers move
and work just fine..
