Because this store does a large volume = of business, I'm pretty much assured that it's fresh. I haven't had a = failure with their stuff, yet. (knocking on soundboard, as we speak.<G>) Their = epoxy cures hard, just like West Systems. The only reason I don't use West = Systems, is that it is in too large a quantity for my use. For you, epoxying = soundboards and making your own bridges & pinblocks, it's the way to go. As for the coloration of the epoxy...if I want to do that, I use fine saw dust. I = don't do that very often, tho. When I buy epoxy from a Hardware Store, it will = usually be a known, high volume one, that Rotates their stock and it's usually for = a one-time application.
