One about 15 years old the other about 10. Two very different instruments really. Both very nice indeed, but perhaps the bass is just a bit too....aahhh... well they lack that certain extra body that you find on the D, but beautiful still.  Actually if you stand back a bit and let a vituoso go at them they move the whole of the concert hall. Beating in intervals and chords become statements, yea I know I am getting carried away, but isnt that what music is supposed to do to one. In anycase there are few instruments capable of that kind of performance that I am aware of.  I cant remember ever running into and American C, but then I have been over here for many years now. Nice work by those people. Anyone know of the names of the craftsmen or if they associate with the list? What think ye about the model C, I don't recall see that model discussed much on this list?
