<BR>fact that the Kawai technician stated and tried to demonstrate the idea that
<BR>almost anything done to an action affects the pianos tone, even backcheck
<BR>angle (not changing the checking point). He even tried to demonstrate that
<BR>if you put a little teflon powder on the back check below the hammer catch
<BR>point it would change the tone of that particular note. It was an
<BR>interesting but highly subjective demonstration. I came away very skeptical.
