working in a rural area and making a nominal charge for travel, this =
worked for
me: I would tell the first customer who wanted me to come a long =
way that
there would be an additional travel charge of say, $30. =
However, if
they could find another tuning for me in their area I would split the =
charge
between the two. If they found yet another, I would split it 3 =
ways.
It was surprising how this would work! Customers begin to think =
about
relatives, church, school and neighbors who needed tunings.
