There was so much to see and do and learn,<BR>and so many friends--old and=
new--to visit. Special thanks to Peter Clark,<BR>the show was on his turf =

State Sacramento) and apparently required a<BR>lot of scheduling,
coordinating, arranging, cajoling, whining, fussing, and<BR>foot-stomping =
on
his part to make so many pianos available for tuning<BR>tutoring, etc.
<BR><BR>BTW with reference to Dale Erwin's msg in "More convention pics" a=
bout
his<BR>"Remanufactured 1928 Steinway D," I played that piano starting with=
a
simple<BR>bass octave in which the power, tone, and sustain about gave me
goosebumps.<BR>What a beautiful piano and restoration. I was going to take=
it
home with me<BR>but couldn't fit it under my coat even after I let the air=
out
