<HTML><BODY STYLE="font:10pt verdana; border:none;"><DIV>Bill and list.= ..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was interested in your comment tha= t "not being able to tell the difference" was a compliment and a goal of = the EBVT.  I have been experimenting with EVBT over the past few mon= ths and that has been my experience.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In my t= eaching studio I used an EBVT on our grand piano (a samik stencil wh= ich we borrow from a local dealer).  The only teacher who expressed = a dislike was the one I told about the new temperment.  We used this= piano for recitals in early May and no one noticed the difference, excep= t me.  What I noticed was that beginner and elementary pieces (Alfre= d Basic Method Levels 1A - 6) had a more stable sound than with ET. = I was actually more comfortable hearing these pieces in EBVT!  The = temperment stood up very well with our advanced students also.  One = of my teachers made the statement that the piano sounded "darker", a comp= liment I guess...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've noticed several times= that when I put a very nice ET tuning on a piano, the student player in = the house will begin to play "Lightly Row" or something and I will begin = to squirm, not at the proficency but the sound coming out of the piano!&n= bsp;This dosen't seem to happen when I use the EBVT.
