growing key-leads (weights) I replaced a whole set in a Broadwood grand =

ten years ago - now the new weights are getting white, expanding, =
growing out of
the sides of the keys which are splitting as a direct result. In the =
case of
both centre-pin and key weights replacement doesn't seem to be enough. =
Makes me
wonder if there's any chemical in the wood which is causing these horrid =
problems. Note. I find that only Grand pianos seem to be affected in the =
