What type of skin doesn't matter that much = as it is only the top layer. Birch is an expensive cabinet and it might be = cheaper to get an oak skin. The cabinet shop might sell you a piece so you don't = have to order a 4' x 8' sheet. Probably be $100 for a sheet of birch.
