<DIV>Alright esteemed list members: Does anyone know *any* advantage of
having the sostenuto bar on the back of the action stack rather than on the
belly rail where all manufacturers but one put them? I've been working on
a 1912 "B" and the mounting brackets are not brass nor bendable. To adjust
the height one must use thinner leather washers in the mounting. What an
unnecessarily tedious task!!!!!!!!!!!! If there were any functional
advantage to do it this way.........</DIV>
