1. Cut
the glue/finish line where the guide touches the =

or brush acetic acid or white vinegar along the line.</FONT></DIV>

5 minutes, repeat step #2.</FONT></DIV>

5 minutes, place a block of wood on the guide and tap the end of the =
block
gently with a hammer as =
you move it along the guide. This should loosen it enough so you =
can
wiggle it out cleanly.</FONT></DIV></FONT></DIV>

indicated, it
may not always, just leave them in there. Trim them off flush with the =
surface
and make proper glides out of brass bar stock. The only tricky part is =
drilling
and countersinking the five equally spaced screw holes, but with a =
little
practice it gets easier. You end up with an attractive music desk glide =
that is
easily removable.</FONT></DIV>
