<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Terry,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>First I'm no computer geek. =
</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I did like PTBiz on several platforms, =
one being
the work order for each customer. The other using that as an
invoice.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>But I have my own invoices, so that =
feature doesn't
do anything for my way of doing business.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>As far as directions, information for =
the day, etc,
I print out the day's work schedule on an 8x 11 sheet and that gets put =
on a
suctioned cup mini clipboard which hangs on my windshield. Everything =
for that
is at a glance. Then as a backup I have the Pocket PC for any further
information.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>As far as directions, T&C has a =
nice feature
where you can assign blocks for directions, phone numbers, email, etc. I =
always
assign for directions, then simply cut and paste onto the scheduled
time.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>And as far as printing up invoices, =
which I like
the idea very much, I'm looking into an portable printer which can =
accept a beam
from the pocket pc and print invoices.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I still convinced more and more that =
T&C has
got it right...keep it simple and extremely flexible. After 2 yrs =
of doing
basic tweaking in, I have nice functioning system which, so far, has =
been
incredibly fun to work with.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>How does T&C handle some of the =
desirable
features of PBiz - like maintaining a service record for customer's =

printing out a work order with driving directions and piano service =

reports of pianos and sales/income - does it keep track of invoices =
and
payment? </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>One of the things where PTBiz really =
helps me is
that it will take an appointment (work order) and convert it into an =
invoice -
that needs to be paid. With that feature, once I make an appointment =
(which I
can remember to do), the program will keep track of that appointment =
through
creating the invoice and having the invoice paid. If I had to do that =
all on
my own, I would have failed at this business a long time =
ago!</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>

there any hope?</FONT></DIV>
