<HTML>I still occasionally tune aurally but have used an SAT II for about 10 years now.  I have, however *never* used its FAC program.  I only use the Direct Interval and program modes.  I never use the SAT for the wound strings and usually not for the 7th octave. Since the end of August, 1989, I have never once tuned any piano for any reason in ET, except when working with an Exam committee setting up a "Master" tuning for a PTG Tuning Exam.  I know several HT's by heart but most often tune the piano in the temperament I designed in early 1992 called the EBVT.
