I pretty much know the months I am working, and the times I may be out of town. If a conflict occurs, it usually can be fixed. Most of these customers are stay at home wives, or customers who keep a good calandar. Not all of my customers preschedule. Some would rather have me send a reminder. I now remind the majority of my customers by email and write in in my signature file. I also remind by email to those who have prescheduled. Bottom line, I make recommendations, but leave it up to the customer to decide what he or she would like me to do. Yes, Wim, I would love to have as many of tunings per week as you do, but because I divide my tuning days with shop days, 9-12 tunings per week is plenty. I do that fairly consistently.
