Ruth and list,
<x-tab> </x-tab>It's clear
from my recent experience and postings that I don't know enough about
these systems. I was under the impression that the "standard"
system was the G6PS which at least as it has come from Jansen contains 1)
24" 25 watt rod and 1) 48" 25 watt rod. This is what my main
confusion has been i. e. if this is the standard package, these rods put
out different amounts of heat etc.
<x-tab> </x-tab>Thank you
all for your input! I hope this has served to educate more than just
me.

The 25 watt, 48" bar has not been the main dehumidifier in systems
for a long time. It is available in a system configuration by
special order (example: G6PS-25-x), or as a separate item (example:
48-25A). The 2' you mention is now a standard part of the G6PS
systems, as the second dehumidifier.

While Ruth Phillips mentions below that the 25Watt Rod was=
discontinued as a system staple I have to disagree.
