To clarify, I’d like to point out that for cleaning a tip, = 70% isopropyl would be fine, IF there were no nicks, scratches, etc. You could just run it under the = sink, if that were the case. But any = imperfections that see water are not going to be happy. Just as a general matter, though, I = don’t think 70% isopropyl has any place in the piano tech’s kit. Does anyone use it? For what = purpose?
