the action is
as well regulated as you can get it. Tap the strings down on the =
bridges,
gently, and mate them to the hammers. Listen to the sustain, and if it's =
lacking, you can get more by deep-needling on the shoulders, away from =
the
strike point. The CFIII should have plenty of power at that point, but =
if you
still want, or need more, take a few hammers off and do the swing test. =
If
you're getting more than ten swings per hammer, which I see fairly often =
(I
assume because I live in a very dry climate here in Arizona,) then =
re-pin
the hammer rail to about 4 or five swings. You'd be amazed at how much =
more
power you'll get out of the piano. There are a few more things you can =
check,
but those should do it. The distortion at FFF, by the way, sounds =
to me
like un-level strings to me.</FONT></DIV>
