the sostenuto rail is missing. Looks like I either need to have a =
sostenuto
rail made or (hopefully) find a manufacturer who shares a similar 21 =
note bass
configuration. Do you know of any scaled pianos being manufactured =
today which
uses a 21 note bass? Mason & Hamlin BB?<BR>No luck through Schaff =

sostenuto lever for
just the bass or for the whole scale? If you luck out and are able to =
find an
existing production piano that matches the scale breaks in the piano you =
have
you can probably talk the company in question into selling you a =
complete
assembly. Good luck! Failing that you will have to try to locate a =
continuous
lever and make it fit. Renner (Germany) used to sell a kit for just this =
purpose. It included the lever and an assortment of wood brackets to =
mount the
thing against the belly rail. I've no idea if Renner (USA) stocks this =
or is
even willing to order one for you. You might check. Failing that you'll =
probably
have to go to one of the European suppliers (Knud Danielsen, Meyne, =
etc.).

easy to fit if
you have access to a good machinist. Or, worse come to worse, you can =
hacksaw
and file the tab away and fit them to the brackets by hand. Not =
particularly
